iConnect Training’s popular educational units now have the choice to include their new, in-depth HVACR curriculum packages from their newest partnership with HVACRedu.net.
Who Is HVACRedu.net?
HVACRedu.net provides the most in-depth, online HVACR courses available. It’s the only online program accredited by HVAC Excellence. All the content is housed online in their learning management system where they provide lessons, courses and learning tracks to accompany iConnect Training units.
HVACRedu.net’s programs are of the highest quality in the industry. In fact, they are a NATE Recognized Training Provider and ANSI-CAP (certificate accreditation program). There’s a 92% pass rate on certification exams as well as 94% satisfaction from students who rated their programs as good, very good or excellent.
Why Did iConnect Training Partner with HVACRedu.net?
In the beginning of the pandemic, schools were put under immediate pressure to figure out how to provide online content for their students studying in a remote environment. This was particularly challenging for a trade like HVAC, which is mostly taught hands-on. In the aftermath of what is 2020, it’s no longer if you have an online program, but rather what’s the quality of that program.
This partnership allows iConnect Training to provide a more complete, HVACR educational solution. In fact, there’s now curriculum available for every unit.
Other benefits include content written by subject matter experts from the HVACR industry, extensive catalog with hours of material that can be tailored to each program and technical support available through HAVACRedu.net.
What Is the HVACR Curriculum Like?
HVACRedu.net’s course catalog is very comprehensive. Since everybody learns differently, there are a multitude of instructional assets for every module including hand-outs, games, quizzes, videos, simulations, animations, assessments and lectures. There’s over 1,700 total hours of content, 581 three-hour instructional modules, technical ebooks, approximately 800 streaming videos, around 3,000 handouts, 20 assessment questions at the end of every three-hour module and 145 assessment questions per six-module course. Modules are voiced for those who are auditory learners.
Is the Platform Easy to Use?
The online, HVACR curriculum platform is easy to navigate. Students can easily identify their learner groups by the name of their school and logo which can be found on their pages. Students can keep track of their progress throughout the course with personal dashboards. Plus, it’s simple to access.
Course administrators have access to reports on progress tracking, assessment scores and more. Selections from over 50 courses are available to instructors for a 30-day free “test drive.”
Who Are the Instructors?
The team at HVACRedu.net brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, which is why they make an ideal partner for iConnect Training as both companies focus exclusively on the HVAC industry.
